Pediatric cancer remains the number 1 killer by disease in children today, yet only approximately 4% of total federal cancer funding goes towards pediatric cancer research. Fortunately, other charitable foundations are formed for cancer research and that is fantastic because we would love to see a cure but what happens to the families today?
Cancer causes not only financial hardship on the family but social challenges as well. Pediatric cancer treatment can last anywhere from 6 months to 3 years, and this takes a toll on families. Typically one parent has to take extended time off of work or completely quit working.
We want to be the organization to help fill in those gaps for families in Texas. All your donations stay right here in Texas. Our passion is to work closely with organizations that financially and socially support Texas families battling childhood cancer.

Our mission
Our mission is to provide for the financial and social needs of Texas families who have a child battling cancer. We do this through the support of qualified Texas organizations whose purpose fulfills our mission and through enhancing the availability of insurance and access to healthcare for Texas employers, their employees and their families. We are here to help non-profits like Heroes for Children, who is one of the benefactors of BFF.
